Gustavo Onorato 

Gustavo Onorato (Montevideo, Uruguay)

 

Study Design and Advertising at the Universidad del Trabajo del Uruguay, where he graduated 1988. Between 1992 and 1994 he studied photography with the Mexican photographer Carlos Amerigo intervenes in three group exhibitions with students from the school. In 1991 he began his studies at the National School of Fine Arts and graduated in 1996. There, workshop courses with José Luis "Tola" Invernizzi. In 1998 he joined the workshop of Enrique Badaro Nadal he attended until 2002. In 2003 he attends workshop with artist Nelson Ramos, which makes three group samples. Since 1987 he is working as a graphic designer. In 1995 he joined the advertising agency McCann-Erickson and began his work there as Art Director continues in his passage by Suarez & Clavera D'Arcy and Grey Uruguay. Currently he is Director in studying graphic design and digital El Paso Communication + Results. Since 2003 he teaches at the University Graduate Business. He is editor of antesdequemeolvide.com.uy blog where he writes about various themes. Between 2009 and 2011 integrates the catalog of Contemporary Art Castells & Castells.
